Be inspiring
Spelling Makes a Difference
When I left for work Saturday morning, there were people running down my street. I realized there was a race going on. I live on a busy street going to the local college and these runners had numbers on their chest.
I must have missed the competitive portion of the race. The winners had probably crossed the finish line already. I waited for a few runners to pass before I backed out of my driveway. One was a gentleman in his seventies. He never slowed down as he ran up a hill past me.
I thought, "That man was inspired to be running a race at eight in the morning in thirty degree temperatures." Then I realized, I have struggled to force myself to walk and exercise again. My second thought was, "That man is inspiring. I need that."
He wouldn't be the winner, but he would be a finisher. Spelling makes a difference. Not only was he inspired, he was inspiring. He might not win, but he would finish, and that is a win in itself.
Have a great week. Go finish something, and inspire someone.
